Went to the Big Boys Toy Show today at Expo Hall to say hi to my friends at Midwest Promotions. I had done some calendar work for them and they were selling signed posters to anyone walking by. Later on Brian decided to jump around on the bungee jump and I got some fun pics from that.

I put together a little Strobist lighting kit and headed to Riverside Park to play lighting assistant for Kevin Brown of Kevin L. Brown Photography.
My set-up included a mono-pod, Canon 580 EX II, a Quantum Turbo SC batter pack, a pocket wizard, umbrella adaptor with hotshoe attachment, a small shoot thru umbrella and a bungee ball to keep the battery attached to the mono-pod.
Thanks to Kevin for passing on these fun cool photos

I photographed some images for Eye Win Fight Gear’s calender this year. Here is an image from the calendar:

We had a lot of fun photographing Nicole & Josh’s wedding which was held at The Scottish Rite Temple in downtown Wichita. Here are some fun images from the day…

We recently updated out menu at Heroes Sports Bar & Grill and decided some new images were in order. One of the new exciting items we’ve added is pizza and it comes in two sizes: the 7″ and the 12″. The 7″ is just the perfect size for just about any individual. The first set of images is the classic Pepperoni Pizza. The second image is of the Teriyaki Chicken sandwich which consists of Teriyaki Sauce, Swiss Cheese and a grilled pineapple.

Wanda was my hand model for this image

Yesterday I met Cheryl aka Left Wing Lucy, who is one my Flickr friends, for a photowalk around downtown Wichita. The weather was really nice for a January day and the sky was really blue which allowed me to boost some of my images a little more for some added effects.
Here’s Cheryl posing for me in a parking garage as I was giving her an idea of where to shoot an engagement couple

I’m including a link to Kevin L. Brown’s blog where I was a second shooter for him at one of his recent weddings.
My favorite shot from Kevin is of me drinking out of Sandy’s coffee mug. I don’t know who Sandy is and I hope she’s not mad that I drank coffee from her mug.
The other thing I noticed is I need to close my mouth when I shoot.
I’m pretty stoked about signing up with WPPI. It’s a great organization that that caters to the business behind weddings and wedding photography.
Brian, the other half of JDB Photography, celebrated his birthday at one of his favorite spots – Sal’s Japanese Steakhouse. David, our chef for the evening, is extremely talented with a knife and a spatula but he’s also quite the smarty pants which made our experience even more enjoyable.

I’m thankful I don’t have any hair when they do this
