Trisha is looking to get into modeling and was needing images for her portfolio. The shoot was fun, and if she’s never modeled before then she’s a natural as she had no problem posing or following my directions. Here are some new images from that photo session.

Here’s an image I shot on Heroes Sports Bar & Grill’s patio for their ad in Naked City Magazine. The theme of the ad is “where the girls go to gossip” and in this image are Ashlin, Jody, Candy, and Allyson who are actual servers at Heroes. My favorite part about this image is that they were really gossiping about boys. I was trying really hard not to laugh as the stories were flying around.

Ran across this image from a shoot I did a while back when I was shooting for Splurge Magazine. Since it didn’t make it in the magazine, I thought it would be fun to turn into a black & white image.
I got hang out with Ken of DavisPix Photography and Kevin of Kevin L. Brown Photography today to photograph some models at the Scottish Rite Masonic Center.
I’ve shot a couple of weddings there and let me tell you, that place is amazing to shoot in. Here are some images from my part of the shoot:

Here’s an image I shot for the local magazine: Naked City. It’s a cool street image of Brent next to an antique shop at Douglas & Emporia. The antique shop wouldn’t let us shoot inside so this was best case scenerio. My favorite part of this image is the ‘Barbie’s Friend Ship’ which is in the display window next to the model.

Here’s an image of my friend Rachel that I took for the cover of a local magazine. Its a one light set up: one Alien Bee 800 with a medium Octobox (camera left) and a black piece of foam core (camera right). I positioned Rachel to catch a small portion of the Octobox in her sunglasses for added effect.

I was sent out to a farm by a local magazine to take some clothing images for a clothing store in El Dorado called Pink Saloon and these are some of the images that didn’t make it in the magazine. My favorite shot is when the cat showed up out of nowhere to be in the picture too.
